Someone told that we dream every night but the majority of the times we aren't aware that we did...i completely disagreed at first but after finding out why we dream it (because are brains need something to do while we are sleeping) i've started really wondering about it.
yes. a dream lasts about 7 seconds each, and we usually remember the one that happens right before we wake up. so we don't remember plenty of dreams.
A dream, actually, does not last only 7 seconds.
Look up Stephen LaBerge. He can give you more information on dreaming.
Well,do we dream every night since we don't have equipment to "view" a person's dreams - it's impossible to know for sure.
Based on the evidence that we DO have, it's highly probable that we do, in fact, dream several times throughout the night, regardless of dream recall (remember it).
Since we can look at brain waves throughout different stages of sleep, we can see that in REM, brain waves are more active, suggesting dreaming.
If you want to remember your dreams more - eat a bite of cheese before bed ... unless you're a vegan like me =]

There is nothing to wonder about it. It hdo we dream every nightas something to do with our remembrance power. Most of the people in the present day world are forgetful. It may be the main reason. I think we should not mistake such people.
Or one may not attach importance to such dreams. He might have taken it easy in a casual way.
Or finally you may like to verify from the same person who told you about it earlier.
you can dream with knowing it
but to dream you have to go into deep sleep called REM
if you don't go that deep you don't dream
iv wondered about the same thing
i think we do!
