open ur computer's bios setting (by pressing Dell or F2 when pc boot) nd see is ur DVD detect there or not. if no than u have 2 open ur CPU chhp dvd player softwareeck the wiring of DVD to motherboard. u can also change the data cable of ur DVD if it not detect.
corrupted drivers ....call customer servhp dvd player softwareice or bring it to a repair shop,...you can do it ur self but i messed mine up when i tried ....maybe u got a friend who can help
