So, I want to download some of deadmau5's music off of youtube using the youtube downloader, now, is this illegal or not?
If the video is copyrighted, then yes.
No, unless you have the rights to the video/song.
if the music is copyrighted, and you dont have the rights to it, or the permission of the person with rights to the copyrighted material
then downlyoutube downloader musicoading it is illegal.
cmon think about it, you are getting something that costs money, for free. how is this not obvious? O.o

but i guess alot of peoplyoutube downloader musice go by the "its only illegal if you get caught" philosophy, which by that philosophy, you have probably a better chance of winning the lottery then being caught/prosecuted for download music illegally, so by that sense it is legal....
It is illegal if it is copyrighted and your making money off it, but otherwise no it isn't illegal
