I got a new ipod a few months back and I dont know how to download songs on it and i have asked everybody in my family and nobody knows how. I have the new i touch and i dont really use it a lot because i dont really have anything on there that i like. I als dont know how to get songs off my ipod. Please help me!!!!!!!!!!! Thx!
You can transfer any files not only songs from an Ipod to a PC by using Pod to PC. It currently has two versions. One version requires iTunes to transfer files and the other version doesn't need iTunes to transfer the files. Choose the one that works for you.


Not entirely sure what you are asking, but it sounds like you want to get the music that is on your old iPod into your computer so that you can load it ontdownload new ipodo your new iPod. I just answered another question asking how to transfer music off of an iPod onto a computer and I've copied my answer from that question below...

There are tons of programs out there but personally I prefer to do this myself without any software since that way there is no risk of spyware etc and it's free! It's not all that complicated either. First of all you need to display hidden folders on your computer, this will allow you to see the folder on your iPod that stores all of your music. How exactly you go about changing the settings to show hidden folders on your computer varies by operating system, so just run an internet search for "display hidden folders in ______" where blank is your operatindownload new ipodg system (i.e. XP or Vista). Once you have changed the settings to display hidden folders, plug your iPod in and open it using My Computer. When you double click on the icon for your iPod in My Computer you will see a few folders, one of which will be labeled "Music". Right click on this folder and select "copy" and then paste it to somewhere on your computer, it doesn't matter where just so you know where it is. Then, open up iTunes and select one of the import options under the "File" menu in iTunes (by file is one song as a time, by folder is a whole folder of songs at once). Import all your songs and you're set to go with no cost or risk of spyware!
